The History of SCSI
Strong College Students was founded on the premise of offering current students the opportunity to maintain employment without interfering with their university enrollment. This foundation and principle was developed by founder Scott Bedell while attending the University of South Florida. Scott aspired to find employment that would assist rather than interfere with his active college lifestyle. To accomplish this goal, Scott began assisting local Tampa Bay residents with moving help. As his small business began to grow, Scott sought the assistance of his good friend and roommate, the current CEO and VP of Strong College Students, Shaun C. Robinson. Together, they worked diligently to not only graduate from the University of South Florida but to also build Strong College Students to become an elite Moving & Relocation Company. Their work ethic, drive, and entrepreneurial spirits, and aspiration fro success have enabled Strong College Students to blossom into a business that provides employment resources to college students, while also continually offering professional dedicated services to residents throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Our Students
“We didn’t write the book on moving, we just read it until we aced it!”
All of our Strong College Students are highly motivated individuals who are registered students currently seeking their respective degrees. Each student is hand picked as a part of our team based on their outstanding academic achievements, personal rapport with their peers, and a strong desire to be the best.
Each student is highly educated through our rigorous training procedure in the logistics of moving. During this training process the student undergoes several training evaluations, including both an oral & written examination. Once the student passes these exams and has proven his/her competency, the student then undergoes a 30-60 day on the job training. During this section of the training, the student accompanies one of our SCSI crews to the job site merely as an observer. One more final evaluation is conducted of the student before passing on the honor of a “Student Relocation Specialist”. |
