MOVING LABOR- this is the price per hour multiplied by the number or hours to complete your move. The numbers above are only estimates based of the information you submitted via online or by phone. This is a reflection of the moving services you may need, since the quote is an hourly rate you have the ability to control how much your move cost! We have NO MINIMUMS & we charge by the 1/4 hour (every 15 minutes) to save you time & money. (Excluding Fate rate moves)

Examples: 12 hours = a full day of moving (over 9000 lbs) 6 hours = a half day of moving (over 5000 lbs.) 3 hours = a quarter day of moving (under 3000 lbs)

9000 lbs = a single family home (3-4 bedrooms) 5000 lbs. = small home or apartment (2 bedrooms) 3000 lbs = a studio or 1 bedroom apt.

These are rough estimates and equations within the moving industry averages. Some homes may be more or less decorated resulting in different estimated weights. 1 truck and 2-3 student crews.

Residential Move- A move starting and ending at a home, apartment, or storage unit.  Residential moves contain personal contents and effects along with other furniture items and household goods.

Commercial Move- Office moves starting and ending in a commercial business or office location.  Commercial moves have specific needs due to the nature of them items that are moved: works stations, cubicles, desk, printers, copiers, computers, etc. all have special needs

LONG CARRY- Its always our goal to park our truck as close to your door step as possible. Sometimes different homes or buildings present a challenge and we cant park as close as we would like to, any distance over 75 ft. ( 3 car lengths) is called a long carry. These situations may result in more time to complete your move due to the extra carrying distance for each item and box we will move. STAIRS- Stairs always pose a challenge on moving day we recommend up to a 3-4 student crew when stairs are involved. The extra hands make the day run smoother, faster, and much more safe saving you time and money! ELEVATORS- Elevators are similar to stairs because there is more work involved to move your items and boxes. We have to unload the items from your home... then load the elevator... then unload the elevator... then load the moving truck. All the extra moving can increase time making the move more expensive. We recommend up to a 3-4 student crew when elevators are involved. The extra hands make the day run smoother, faster, and much more safe saving you time and money! VALUATION- This is the protection your items have while in our custody of moving. We offer 3 levels of protection FULL VALUE Replacement Protection, Declared Value Protection, and Released Value Protection. Released value protection is FREE and included in your move at no additional cost, however if you would like to have more insurance protection for your items we can provide it on your moving day. Our goal is always to minimize damage by efficient protection techniques and safe moving operation. Hence why we offer our FULL SERVICE with pads, blankets, stretch wrap to protect your furniture and keep our claims 7 times lower than the national average for movers!

TRAVEL/ DRIVING CHARGE- This helps cover the cost to get to and from your location before and after your move is completed. We charge at flat fee to help protect you and make sure our pricing stays easy and up front with no additional hassles. The travel charge helps off set the cost of expensive items like diesel fuel, tires, maintenance, insurance, tolls, and other related travel expenses.
