At Strong College Students we're aware of how our decisions and choices impact our environment. We realize that we must make an effort to preserve the future not only for us but for the generations to come. We feel its important to hold ourselves accountable and work to do our part to protect the environment.
We pledge to educate our staff about sustainable environmental practices and sound environmental choice
As a part of their Moving Certification our staff is taught and tested on sustainable practices and principles
We pledge to utilize recycled materials throughout our corporate offices and practice sustainable principles
From recycled printer cartridges & printer paper to low watt bulbs and energy smart appliances, electronics, and computers
We use recycled cardboard for our moving boxes and reuse boxes when we can to reduce our impact
Being Movers we use lots of cardboard and newsprint to protect customers items, to stop waste we recycle thousands of pounds of cardboard and newsprint
We utilize bio-diesel in our truck fleet when available to reduce our carbon footprint
Bio-diesel reduces carbon emissions and green house gases, in addition our trucks are all speed limited and fuel consumption is monitored consistently to ensurewe are minimizing our impact on our home the Sunshine State of Florida.
We are moving towards a entirely paperless system and have currently reduced our paper consumption by 70%
Our proprietary moving software allows us to communicate, provide quotes, and manage our operation without the need for printing paper. We are working on a Tablet PC version which will render our business entirely PAPERLESS, further reducing our impact on the environment!
